Job Summary:

This program is designed to identify strong candidates from select universities to provide them a structured pathway to a career as a Frontier pilot.

General Hiring Requirements

  • Apply online via Airline Apps, airlineapps.com
  • GPA 3.2/4.0 or above
  • Recommendations from at least two Flight Department professors or administrators
  • No disciplinary records from the previous 24 calendar months
  • Successfully pass an interview with Frontier and maintain these qualifications prior to starting employment
  • No more than two unexcused absences used per rolling academic year
  • Valid U.S. passport
  • Legal right to work in, and travel freely in and out of, the United States
  • Ability and desire to maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
  • Available any time of the day, any day of the week, nights, weekends, holidays, and overnights
  • Ability to relocate or commute

Pilot Specific Hiring Requirements

  • First Class Medical with first class privileges
  • FCC Radio Operator's Permit
  • 600+ total time hours
  • No more than 1 check ride/stage failure during the previous rolling 12 calendar months
  • No more than 3 total check ride/end of course failures in total during their pilot training at the university
  • ATP or restricted ATP license preferred, or ability to obtain license when experience permits (need to be able to provide required documentation)

Preferred

  • Leaders within their communities
  • Members of flight team or clubs/organizations
  • Community service
